Mesozoic Haven is my dinosaur and prehistoric-life project.

It is part information site, part community, part gaming space, and part excuse for me to talk about dinosaurs more often.

Which, to be fair, does not take much convincing.

What I want it to be

I want Mesozoic Haven to feel welcoming whether you know the difference between every species of tyrannosaur or you just think T. rex is cool.

You should not need a degree to enjoy prehistoric life.

The site is being built around:

• dinosaur and prehistoric animal pages;
• articles and educational content;
• gaming content;
• community discussions;
• livestream and video content;
• a family-friendly atmosphere.

I try to keep things understandable without talking down to people.

There is a lot we still do not know about prehistoric life, and paleontology changes as new fossils and research come out. That is part of what makes it interesting.

The site itself

Mesozoic Haven has been rebuilt more than once.

The current version is moving toward a setup that is easier for me to actually maintain and update without needing to treat every article edit like a software deployment.

That matters because the whole point is to spend more time making the content — not fighting the website.

Community first

The community side of Mesozoic Haven matters just as much as the articles.

I want it to be a place where dinosaur fans, gamers, families, and curious people can hang out without the environment becoming hostile or exhausting.

Basically: dinosaurs are cool. The internet does not need to make that complicated.
